General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for Gästehaus-Fulda

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to contracts for the temporary provision of guest rooms and apartments at Gästehaus-Fulda (Am Ried 7, 36041 Fulda) for accommodation and all related services. Deviating terms and conditions shall only apply if they have been expressly agreed in writing.

2. Booking and conclusion of contract

Upon making a booking request, the guest receives an offer; the accommodation contract is concluded upon written confirmation of the booking by the guest house. The booking is binding. Transfer to third parties requires prior written consent.

3. Terms of payment

The total travel price must be paid in cash or by a previously agreed payment method upon arrival at the latest. The landlord is entitled to demand a reasonable deposit or security deposit.

4. Arrival and departure

The accommodation is available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. It must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. If the departure time is exceeded without prior agreement, an additional day may be charged. The accommodation should be returned in a condition that corresponds to normal use. In the event of exceptional soiling, a separate cleaning fee may be charged.

5. Use and house rules

The rental property may only be used by the agreed number of persons and for residential purposes only. Pets may only be brought along after consultation. The applicable house rules are an integral part of these terms and conditions. Violations entitle the landlord to terminate the rental agreement. Smoking is prohibited indoors.

6. Withdrawal and cancellation

If the guest withdraws up to 30 days before arrival, no costs will be incurred. In the event of later cancellation or no-show, 80% of the total price will be charged unless the property can be rented to another party. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance. The landlord may withdraw from the contract for good cause (e.g., unforeseen damage); in this case, any payments already made will be refunded in full.

7. Liability and damage

The guest is liable for any damage caused to the inventory, equipment, and rooms. Damage must be reported immediately. The landlord is only liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, but not for loss or theft of items brought onto the premises.

8. Wi-Fi use

The Wi-Fi may only be used by the guest and their fellow travelers. The access data may not be passed on to third parties. Illegal use (e.g., illegal downloads) is prohibited; the guest is liable for any legal violations.

9. Data protection

The personal data required to process the booking will be stored and processed in accordance with the statutory provisions. Details can be found in the privacy policy.

10. Place of jurisdiction and final provisions

The place of jurisdiction is Fulda, insofar as this can be agreed upon in a legally permissible manner. Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Changes or additions must be made in writing.
